New playground at the zoo

Thinking this would be an AWESOME place for their birthday party!

We went to the zoo today!

We had so much fun. David decided to take the day off of work since he's been working like crazy, and after we slept late this morning, did a little housework, ate lunch, and took naps, we went to the zoo. It was a gorgeous day, and Nadia and Dawson were wonderful.

The only thing that would have made the day any better was if Baylor had been with us. He had some important business of his own to tend to today. His baby brother, Kohlden Rider Dohmann was born this afternoon. Baylor has two brothers that are five months apart! Imagine that!

After the zoo we met mom at Roly Poly for dinner. Thanks Mom! The food was really good, and it was a nice way to end the day.

This morning while Nadia and I were in the tub, David came in carrying Dawson. He started flipping him upside down, and I said, "Oh, no, not again." Nadia looked at me and said, "Now Mom, just close your eyes." She also regularly says things like, "Oh my gosh", "Oh my goodness", and "Hey, guys, guess what?"
Here are some pictures from today...

Oh I wish I had some time...

...to update this blog more often. I find it rather therapeutic, but time is pretty short these days. We had some fun this past weekend. We went out to eat Saturday night with Elliott and Suzi (and during the course of our discussions solved all of the world's major problems!). My mom babysat so that we could just enjoy our evening.
Sunday after church we went to Olive Garden with Kurt and Wendi. It was so good. I choose to just forget about the fact that I'm on Weight Watchers. I decided it's time to live a little.
Tuesday we went out to eat again with my parents for my birthday. How is it possible that I'm 36? I can't believe I'm that old. Wow.
Tonight at WW I found out that I've only lost about 1/2 pound this week. Oh well, at least I didn't gain anything!
Dawson still isn't sleeping. I started him on cereal, and I honestly don't notice a difference at all. I was hoping that the cereal would be the magic solution. Too bad I was wrong.
I've been updating my resume, and calling local private schools and neighboring parishes to see about a job for next year. I just don't see staying where I am with the decline I'm seeing. I dread going to work, and I am tired of babysitting and not teaching anymore. I don't enjoy it, and I always have. Time to move on, I think.
Baylor seems to be doing okay in school. I'm having him take the LEAP test in April, so we'll see. I'd like some clarification that we've done the right thing. I hope we didn't mess him up.
I need to take some pictures of the kids this weekend. I've been terrible at it. Dawson is 5 months old now, and it's been awhile since I've taken his picture. It's horrible of me. Dawson, if you ever read this blog...I'm so sorry, and I'll try to be better about taking pictures of you. He is rolling over from front to back and back to front. We're so proud of this major accomplishment.
Some cute Nadia conversations:
Nadia: Here daddy. Hold my baby. I'm going to kill the monsters. Be right back.

Nadia: Momma, how come milk won't come out my boobies?
